Fabien is the founder of F4Bio Consulting & Talent, bringing more than a decade of experience in the biopharmaceutical field at the crossroads of R&D, analytics, and organizational leadership. His expertise spans Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), RNA platforms, vaccines, and plant biotechnology, with a consistent focus on translating scientific ambition into structured, high-quality execution.
Prior to founding F4Bio, Fabien served as Head of Analytics at Exothera, a rapidly growing CDMO specializing in viral vectors and mRNA manufacturing for vaccines and gene therapies. Together with his collaborators, he built the analytical function from the ground up, designing the team structure, defining analytical strategies, and implementing an end-to-end pipeline covering method development, qualification, and lifecycle management. He also established operating models and decision frameworks connecting R&D and QC, ensuring data traceability, comparability, and phase-appropriate readiness across the Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) continuum. His approach emphasized both technical depth and sustainable organization, embedding analytical design as a driver of efficiency and regulatory alignment.
Before joining Exothera, Fabien contributed to research projects in plant-environment interactions, gaining hands-on expertise in molecular biology, cell-based assays, biochemistry, and bioprocess analytics. This early multidisciplinary background shaped his pragmatic and integrative mindset, combining scientific rigor with practical execution in complex environments.
Fabien holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology & Biochemistry from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (France). His scientific foundation and operational experience enable him to bring a balanced, analytical, and people-oriented perspective to his work, helping life-science organizations strengthen their analytical capabilities, accelerate R&D, and build teams and methods that sustain quality and performance over time.
